I've been really wanting to get another Tamagotchi.

I cant decide between those listed above, so if you could help by filling out the poll, I would be greatful :)

Also, as a side note, I an hoping for an iD L, but I'lllet y'all decide on that one.

See ya!!!

I think it really depends on you.

If you don't have much time, you're a 90's kid and you're okay with simplicity, a vintage is great. Oceangotch requires care every 5 minutes or so, so I would cross that off your list right away. If you already own a vintage and like it, you'll probably love any other vintage, except the Oceangotch if you're not prepared to devote your life to this cute but needy Tama. I own an Angel and it's a little too simple for my taste, but I'm the only one. If you want a vintage, research the one you're thinking about. You can find a lot of good info in logs on TamaTalk, and I also highly recommend Mimitchi.com. It has logs, photos and detailed information about most vintage Tamas.

Connections are good for people like me, who don't have lots of time and are okay with moderate simplicity. If you already own one, all Connections are pretty similar, so one you own will be a fair comparison for any other. I own all the Connections except V1 and V5.5, so here is my information on all of them:

V2 - a little simple, but great for someone with school or a busy life. A step up for vintage fans.

V3 - pretty similar to the V2 - TamaTown and a few more characters are its main new features. The games are really good!

V4 - this is where it stars to get a bit more complex with the school and work features. You need to have a reasonable amount of time for your Tama, but school-sneaking is great.

V4.5 - this is pretty much like a V4, except for the "Ura" characters. Some of them are pretty hideous, like Shitekitchi, but most are quite cute. It's best run at the same time as a V4.

V5 - the family feature is nice for some, but not so good for others. It depends whether you want to get attached to one character or not. Some people complain it is boring due to the fact there is no weight feature and the games are a bit tedious; but I can overlook that, the V5 is very pet-like and I enjoy it.

V6 - you need a lot of time for your Tama. It's great to run it for one generation in the holidays, but 10 consecutive generations? Nope, it's really needy and not good at all for school sneaking.

Tama-Go - this is not technically a Connection, but is a lot like a Connection. The biggest complaints are about size and figure price, and I can totally agree with them. However, some people love the Tama-Go. It's great as a holidays Tama, and only a little bit boring without figures.

That's Connections covered. As for Japanese Tamas, don't worry about the language! It is no problem! I own 3 Japanese Tamas, and I figured the language out within ten minutes of opening the Tama. Now that's said, I'll tell you what I can about the Japan Tamas listed in your poll. I've heard that the EnTama and UraTama are basically like a Japanese V4 and V4.5. The iD L is best described by someone else; I dislike it, but that's because it's too complex for me. All I can say is, for the iD L you need quite a bit of time and patience, something I don't have much of.

Hope I helped!

For the iD L, you don't necessarily need "time and patience". I'm not sure what requires patience, I haven't encountered anything that I'd conisder very... "patience-needy", if you know what I mean.

I can understand the time, I wouldn't leave it alone for more than 4 hours at a time or else I'd be afraid that it would die.

However, I have... snuck... sneaked... whatever my iD L into school every day since I got it on July 6th, and I haven't had one character die or leave me yet. Sometimes I can't check on it throughout the day, but it does always turn out ok. I really love mine, but it does cause a little bit of stress trying to keep the screen and shiny part scratch-clean.

Good luck with your decision. ;)

Thanks... I own currently a v4.5 and a v6.

I had a tama-go, v3, and 2 minis before.

NO VINTAGES !!! 0.o

Thank you everyone

Seems the iD L is the most popular, so I'll ask for that.

Of the tamas I listed, the most popular in each category have been Angelgotchi, v5.5, and IdL... I think I'll go for the IdL because I will MAKE time for it if I don't already have it... my dad says he'll get it for me IF I learn the ocarina I got for christmas.
