It has come to my attention that a lot of people are being hard on the newer people. Even new people are being hard on new people! I can't tell you how many things that I have seen with " DON'T DO THAT! YOUR'RE NOT SOUPOSED TO DO THAT! PEOPLE HATE IT WHEN YOU DO THAT! :) :) " I just wanted to say that they are new and don't know all of the rules yet. Insted of yelling and bossing them around, kindly give them a heads up on the rules. Calmly let them know that what they are doing is wrong so they know and no one gets hurt or upset, and they won't have to learn the rules the hard way. :(

hi i'm new at this too but i haven't really noticed people being really mean ........ just a little too criticle

That's probably what tamagirl1092 means. I've seen a lot of newbie's topics and the older members rush in saying, "This isn't in the right forum. Can a guide move this?" and when the new members SPAM (sometimes even by accident) people say, "This is SPAM. That's Short Pointless Annoying Messages. You really shouldn't do that, it's annoying. :) " and stuff like that. Point is, it's just plain mean. They're new here, so don't chase 'em out.

I think that the most basic thing to do would be to NOT reply to the SPAMmy topics made by new members and instead quietly PMing a Guide to close it. If a newbie hears the rules from a higher authority (Guide) they'll know that the Guides are just doing their job. When non-Guides boss the newbies around, it's extremely rude.

And not just for newbies, but members that have even been here longer slip up once in a while and put something in the wrong forum. Remember, don't reply asking it to be moved, just PM a Guide with the link and ask them to move it instead.

Yah. I made a second one in (Non)tamatalk, so more people could see it, but a guied closed and said I could only make one of each topic. I was so embarased. ;)
