Neopets vs. Tamagotchi's

Neopets is bad for you... I once played Neopets and I got so addicted to earning these endless points that I almost failed my piano exams, and I dodn't do my school homework. But then I froze my Neopets account, but it was too late... And the Mcdonalds promotion that they did, do you know how bad Mcdonalds is for you? Also, Neopets has been littered with ads lately. I say Powerpets is better, even though it's also addictive, but it has no ads and ppl are nice and friendly. Why is everyone talking about Neopets anyway? Tamagotchi has a limited amount of points to earn, and I just don't know what's bad about Tamagotchi. Tamagotchi teaches children to take care of something, and if you don't, then it will die. On Neopets, on the othwer hand, if you keep your pet starving, it's not going to die, you don't have to care for it at all!

I think that Neopets is all about promotion and advertising, but Tamagotchi is all about caring. I think it's better to spend $ 20 on Tamagotchi than to make a free account on Neopets. Now it's up to you to choose.

your right. i used to play neopets straight after school to 11pm at night. 6 HOURS STRAIGHT! i never did my homework, i nearly failed my exams and i tried to stop buh i couldnt help it. buh ever since that lowlife hacker hacked into my account i've stopped playing it. its a good and a bad thing cause ive stopped playing neo and ive done my homework etc and during my leisure time i help out at home and go on tamatalk and chat to my friends or go to the park. buh the bad thing is was that i lost 1 million np worth of items and money.

you may not understand wat i am saying but i really hate neo now, it "kinda" nearly destroyed my life

I like neopets a lot more than I like tamagotchis. There is so much more you can do on neopets besides feeding your pet because you can play games, enter competitions, make a gallery/shop, collect items, paint your neopets, get petpets for them, and well the list is almost endless! Tamagotchis are OK but there is not that much you can do on them, you just feed them, exercise them, connect them, get them to evolve into characters, and if you have v2 you can buy stuff at a shop. Tamagotchi is just a virtual pet and Neopets is a fun website. And thats why I prefer neopets to tamagotchis!
