Well since my dad has a TV for his room, and the living room and today his friend gave us a Bigger one I got the old TV.

I decided to hook up the TV and it worked fine. I was cool, then I started flipping channels (Yay for Having a Cable cord in your room) Then when I hit channel 17, the screen was blue. I clicked through all the channels 17-69 and they were all Blue screens! I decided to tighten the cable cord thing, it did nothing. My mom said it was because it needed programming. I looked at the TV "Like were is the Menu button!?" I couldnt even find the model number >< My mom even tried the universal remote with no luck.

We are getting a new Universal remote for me from the store. But can you all help me decided if it is because my TV aint programmed?

I have a Black 20'' Samsung, a old model. It is a VCR combo, the Speakers pop out from the sides. The VCR slot says "Samsung, on screen Programming" and like it looks to be from 1995.

Im Not Sure MB, I think My TV is the Same Brand (or different, not sure), But Its not hooked up to Cable (i just watch Movies and DVDs) and i dont have a Remote (i walk up to the tv, and do it by hand)

Well Anyways, Best Of Luck

*sigh* 20 inch TV, black, it is a big one (The thing in the back, it is lighter then the screen, the front is heavy) A On and Off button, a Audio and a Visual cord hook up thing, and 3 other buttons (Fast Forward, Rewind, Play) and a circluar button that records

yes that is exactly like my tv

Usually the model number is on the back, on or near the serial number sticker.

Once you have the model number, you may be able to find a manual on the manufacturer's web site.
