My Tamagotchi’s gender goes in a pattern (boy, girl, boy, girl)

I’ve had this thing happen where my tamagotchi genders are in a pattern. It was like this for my first family tree of tamas. I reset on accident but it still does this. Is there a way to influence gender, or make it more random? Also, my friend has the same model of Tama as me (A pink fairy ON) and has only had a boy once, on the first gen.

There's no way to influence the gender of the child. It's always random, so you've just had good luck!
