My sisters V3 is a 1 year Teen. It looks like a black alien with a sprout on it's head. Is that good or bad? What's it called?

Look on the tamagotchi v3 character chart for it's name. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, it depends on the tama. I think tamas each have personalitie that don't rely on their characters.
