My POEM! YOU LIKE?

[Evanescence]

i had to have a state of mind

to accept what you had to say

I was sick and tired

it just had ruined my day...

 

i felt so bad so weak and so sad

That i never had answered you

It wouldn't be very fair of me

to say what not hold true

 

You asked me at such a bad time

I couldn't even think about it

i would have said "no" if there was more pressure

i really acted like a twit

 

There was a dance that night

And i didn't even go

i felt so bad so weak and so sad

where i was? i think you know

 

I was at home resting peacefully

letting my body fight the bug

while you were alone dancing without me

i was under the quilt, warm and snug

 

i'll give you an answer soon

It wasn't a bug that made me sick

I've had such a bad week of sorrow

My stress rose way too quick

 

My answer may be no

My answer may be yes

Patience is a virtue

The answer, you must guess

 

Wait till i get back

Wait till i feel well

i'll see you some time soon

I may make your heart swell....
