My Morino Tamagotchi came with its shell design rubbed off, what should I paint in its place?

Since this is a Mori, I think that I'll suggest a vine pattern - it fits the forest/bug theme, and should work nicely with the colours that remain, as well as being something that you can easily fit onto the shell and still be creative with.

Yeah the seller specified that it was, I got it because it was the cheapest option and I didn't mind as long as I got to play it lol, you can still see the outline of the artwork if you shine light at it at just the right angle, i contemplated just tracing it but I think this is an opportunity to get a bit creative!
