Alright, so as soon as I got a young Mamechi, I decided she would be Makiko! I worked really hard to get her stats right-- last night I got her stats as high as I could before the next day, when she would evolve.

Here are her stats from last night:

Training: (FULL)

Intelligence: 104

Fashion: 365

The flower: 61

Weight: 55 lbs

And this morning I wake up to find that she has evolved into...MASKICHI! T__T;

OH MY GOD! ALL MY HARD WORK GONE TO WASTE!

Is there any way for me to fix this? What did I do wrong? Can she still become Makiko after all this? Should I try to get her weight down and see if she re-evolves? HELP!

EDIT: I just got her weight down to 33 lbs...and nothing T_T; I guess I'm screwed. This is so sad.

From what i have gather, you can only get a Makiko from a teenager from the Meme group evolving into a Memetchi. You said that you had a Young Mametchi which can't evolve into a Makiko. So that is why you didn't get her. Instead you got a Masktchi, this would be becuse of treating your tamagotchi unfairly, like letting its hearts empty and letting it sleep with poo. Even if you have alot of skill points but you neglected you tamagotchi, you have a change of getting an universal adult. In this case a Masktchi.

Well, I didn't neglect it (I have 4 other tamagotchis, and when I can't take care of them I make sure to pause them), so it must have been the weight that effected the evolution. So sad though ._.;

It might have been to weight, but from what i said in the other post - You had an Young Mametchi which can't become a Makiko.

If she was a Young Memetchi you could reasonably expect her to become Memetchi, then Makiko.

Mametchi is a boy, so I am assuming the poster meant she had a Young Memetchi.

My advice would be to WAIT until she evolves to Memetchi, and then get her to transform into Makiko (I did this today, YAY!)

She doesn't need to transform from teenager to Makiko, she can transform into the adult first. That way you won't waste hours playing games to get her to over 350 in fashion. As long as she has high Fashion she will transform from Young Memetchi to Memetchi (mine was Itchigotchi then Memetchi). Once you KNOW you are Memetchi focus on building up the points. It's also easier once you're an adult as you can get a job (which I find easier to get points in than the games and school).

I assume the original poster received a Masktchi because either A. the weight was too high or B. the training was too low, or both.

Yea, I got the name wrong in the first post (whoops ;) )...sorry for the confusion.

Your explanation was the best, thank you! I understand what I did wrong now >.<

makiko is on versions other than v5!? :mellow:
Yes. She appears on v4, v5 and entama for as far as I know.

Sincere apologies to anybody for going off topic.
