My dog has to be put to sleep because the vet thinks theres something wrong with her medically and the vet doesn't know what exactly is wrong

I'm so sorry to hear that. I have two miniature dachshunds, and I don't know what I would do if one had to be put to sleep.

Remembering the good and the bad times you both went through together never hurts. And it's OK to cry, because people will understand. We're always here for you to comfort you too, whenever you need it, so don't be afraid to PM someone and talk about it. If you believe in heaven, she'll be there waiting for you.

Thanks, I might have to wait ten days before she is put to sleep, so my Mom might put her in a boarding place.

I'm sooo sorry!!! It is always hard to loose a baby! I know how it feels to loose your 4-legged family members! I hope you can make her last days perfect. Maybe you will get a new baby soon... I hope that you don't go petless too long!

Oh - I am so sorry to hear that

Our family is facing a similar situation, but we know what is wrong with our dog - she has cancer - the vet confirmed it with blood and urine tests...

Whilst our dog is enjoying life and is not in pain, we will not have her put down.

Uh... have you (or your parents) thought of getting a second opinion - trying another vet who might know what's wrong??

Seems a shame to put an animal down if you don't know why it is ill... what if there's some medication available for your dog..?

I'm so sorry to hear that. Try going to another vet like TM said. Just make sure your dog enjoys her last days. If you treated her well and loved her, she'll know you loved her, and you loved her and always will.

It mights be a brain tumor I won't be petless, though because I have two dogs (Including the one being put to sleep) And I might get a Skinny Pig.

Nobody dies and is gone forvever - we will always re-unite with our dearly loved ones some day in heavon. That is what I believe, as my cat dosen't have that long either.. And I love him more than anything in the world. :furawatchi:
