My 4.5 fell off a bookcase and turned off

My orange 4.5 fell off a bookshelf about three feet high, crashed into the shelf below it and landed on the rug. I picked it up and the screen was blank. I went and got a screwdriver to remove the battery and put it back in to see if it still worked. It took a few tries to get it to boot up, but I managed it. The time was reset to 6:38 AM yesterday, but the character, skill points, Gotchi points, age, name and user name are all correct. It connects perfectly to my blue 4.5. The reset button had to be pushed pretty hard for it to register, other than that, everything seems normal. What am I looking at here? Wiring issues or weird glitches or something?

Your Tamagotchi wasn't harmed in any way, the battery just came loose and sometimes Tamagotchis are fussy when it comes to starting up. I have to put a battery in my Music Star 5 times before it turns on.

The time is meant to go back when you reset the Tamagotchi. It usually goes back to when the Tamagotchi last evolved or did something else major, e.g. starting school. But everything else stays the same, basically.
