Hi! I've been on TamaTalk for a few months now but I haven't really encountered any musicians. :{P Anyways, I'd like to make a topic to see who has musical experience! It doesn't need to be any genre and it can be anything from being a professional musician to singing in the shower.

Personally, I can't sing for the life of me but I love to play instruments. My principle instrument is the tuba but I also regularly play euphonium and trombone for other bands in my school. I can't wait to switch to sousaphone next marching band season (I did baritone last semester but I'm back on tuba) and I also play viola in my school orchestra but I'd like to focus more on my tenor range so I'm switching into jazz band to get better at trombone. String instruments are hard and I just started this year (last chair for that class too ugh) and they aren't really for me. ;w;

For me, I can sing and play the piano. But I haven't learned how to play the piano, I just play a tune that I practice. And I'll probably learn how to play the piano sometime in the future, but for now I'm just playing some tunes that I learn how to play myself. One of the tunes I can play are Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends OP or Smile For Tomorrow, or any other song that I teach myself how to play. Me and my little brother also have a song that we made up together. For singing, it's a gift from God. And since I'm a size of an adult, I can sing adult songs, to. I even sung for a talent festival called Fine Arts, and I passed on to the finals! :) But I like to do art, to. Even thought it has nothing to do with music. :)

I play the flute, though I haven't done in a while. I also have a clarinet but I can't play it to save my life.

I think I'm a pretty decent singer, and have been told so by other people, but my sister seems to think otherwise :/

I have an AMusA (diploma) in both classical violin & piano, and have been playing since I was three. Sadly, when I went off to uni I stopped playing seriously, but I still play every now and then in my spare time :) I always wanted to learn a brass instrument... they look fun. All the best for your jazz class!

I've played lots of instruments, but the ones I focused on were marimba and vibraphone. I played those for about 5 years in high school and college. I haven't played in a while though. :/ When I have enough money, I'm going to buy a vibraphone. But that's going to be a while since they cost $5,000-$10,000.

Can't say I really play any "real" instruments, but I make music via computer, so I suppose that counts.

I love to sing and do it on a daily basis. :) I performed in choir through grade school, middle school, and for a short time in college. I learned how to play the violin in middle school and still play to this day, though not as often. I used to play the piano and flute. I would love to reacquaint myself with the piano again someday - my husband and I inherited one from a good friend of ours.

I've been playing piano for more than ten years now, and I play a little bit of guitar (can't read guitar music, by that I mean idk what string is what note, but I play tabs so it doesn't really matter).

Playing some pretty difficult pieces on piano now though (Beethoven sonata is killing me!)

I wish I could sing... That would be so cool.... I know some guitar though and that's pretty fun!
