i think the music star buttons are made of a different material, because they are more stiff than regular buttons. maybe that has something to do with it?

The pink one: Fresh plastic

The black one: No smell, although I opened it at the same time as the pink one

My first v2 smelled like root-beer

My pink v3 had been in a store for like, 3 years un-opened and when I opened it you could smell the icky plasticky smell when you held it almost a foot away from your face... LOL

But it has been sitting in my purse with my minty-gum and it absorbed the smell so I have a minty-Tama now! LOL

my v3 smells like plastic, and my v4 smells like a baby , becuase my aunts baby was sucking on my tama yesterday.

ps. he loves my tamas! every time i show him my tamas he stops crying! you should try it with a baby!
