I only own MOTHER 1+2, and it's in Japanese. D:

I want MOTHER 3 so bad. The original MOTHER is so hard, and I only have 1 out of 8 melodies, too.

Mother 1 does seem like it would be quite a bit harder, given that there's random battles and that you only have 3 party members (at least most of the time, I believe). I should really get around to trying it out sometime!

Never played any of the games, but it really amuses me that the first enemy in one of the games (either 1 or 2 i forget) is a lamp. xD I really want to play these games, though!

Yeah, when I first started playing it (It's in 1) and I fought the lamp, I was laughing the whole time. (It's the first enemy.)

It's just so weird, but it's weird because it's MOTHER, and there are many weird things in MOTHER. (Don't even get me started on the MOTHER 3 fart boxes.)

I tried to download a ROM for earthbound, but unfortunately i have no computer skills and can't figure this stuff out. So, maybe i'll just get mother 3 for GBA, because i that doesn't involve me trying to mess with computer stuff.

I LOVE MOTHER!

But...Earthbound is too big of a game for me. That's why I'm playing Mother 3. (English patched, and on my Wii using Homebrew ) I still can't beat New Fassad.

Oh, and is anybody obsessed with "Monkey's Delivery Service" like I am?

It's a pity, really. One of the best songs in the game placed right in the most annoying parts.

EarthBound is on the SNES. However, you can get MOTHER 1+2 on GBA/DS for about $40.

I own the Japanese MOTHER 1+2 too. I'm afraid the only possible way to get it in English is to get a ROM, but Tomato from EarthBound Central is working on one here.
