My pashalin camera came in the mail last week and yesterday I finally got to play it. I have to say that I really enjoyed it!! I know it's not a tamagotchi per say, but I really like the selection of games. :)

It seemed to not do so well in terms of sales, or at least it seems like most people don't want one.

I also like the Tama-Go, which I know many people didn't like.

What version do you think is underrated or you enjoy but other people don't?

I don't care much for virtual pets, but I think there are some underrated Tamagotchis in every generation we've had so far.

From the vintages, I would say the Genjintch is really underrated, everybody loves the angelotchi, the devilgotchi, the ocean, the mothra, but no one really cares about the Genjintch... It has some really cute characters, and I heard that it has inverted evolution, what I find really cool actually!

As for the connections, I think the V5 and the Tama-Go deserve more love, the V5 is really different from other tamagotchis because you are raising 3 characters of course, but that makes it a lot cuter in my opinion!

And the Tama-Go looks really nice, I never got one myself, but the figures and the faceplates look cool, and it has really nice characters, also it has some really cute animations and I love how things work on it, it doesn't have much features so it looks simple to take care of this way~

Color tamagotchis are usually more loved, but I would say the TMGC+C needs more love, everybody prefers the iD L and the P's because they have much more stuff, but the TMGC+C it's really simple to take care of, it has lovely characters and close up animations (and is not so girly pf)

I have the Pashalin and I believe it is FANTASTIC and so fun to play with!

Underrated is Tamagotchi Friends because everyone hates it, says it has no features, complains about the screen when I love it and the screen looks fine to me?

Oooh good points Myiko and EMF! I personally find it hard to find time for the colors, they're almost too intricate to me...I think if I was really bored and could care for it properly I would really like it. I should try the Plus again though, that might be more my speed. I haven't played with most of the vintages. And I have yet to try the Tamagotchi Friends but I'm excited!! I like one of the US shell designs a lot, I would still buy it even if I knew it was bad. xD

I think it also really depends what people like in tamagotchis...like for me it is mostly about the games/items. I've never really worried about what character I would get or how many generations I could last, but I know that some people are really into that. So like, the TamaGo was awesome for me with the figures, gave me lots more options for games and items. xD

My opinion on this topic? I'll share.

Most underrated Tamagotchi in my book would go to the Genjintchi. Myiko has the same reasons I do in that regard.

Most underrated Digimon would be the Pendulum Cycle series. People look down on it because a raised Digimon on it will revert back to Rookie / Child at the end of the day before bed, but I like the concept because you can go for something else the next day.

Most underrated oddpet would be the Daikaiju Battlenizer. Bandai Japan had an excellent thing going with this one - three screens and a unique control setup that actually changed depending on whether the lid was open or closed, and the ability to raise characters by scanning the same cards used in the arcade game it was based on. Plus, it's pretty low maintenance which is a plus at any time. In my book, even those who do not follow the Ultraman series (Which this pet features the monsters of) as much as some other people do would probably enjoy it.

Most underrated non-Tamagotchi pet is the LPS pets; they're full of games and super cute animations and music :) They're more like a quest pet than a normal care pet don't evolve but they're still really fun to play with!
