Of course, you may think that posting the name of the town where you live is harmless... but it is easy to look back through any member's posting history where (in different topics over the months) they may have put their first name, their age, their grade in school, their school's name, posting a pic of themselves with their brother, etc.

Someone can also click links to other sites you go to and find out more info about you than you may realise is available, etc.

No more questions on TamaTalk about whether ppl live near you (or your Dad) please?
