He giggled, and laid down around the sleeping bunch of kids."good-night!" he said, stroking her head.

He grabbed her suddenly as dark gray, black spotted wings shot out from behind him, and he took off flying, just above the trees. He could hear them- the animals inside them, the wind blowing their tops- so he could not hit one to tall for the rest; he also heard what was below their green leaves, conversations, orders. Huntings. It may have been a while before he found the girl, or it may be only a few minuets.

Dani blinked as she spoke those slurred, but understandable words, and smiled naively. "Love you too~"
