Willard yawned, "a little sleepy too."

"You havent slept all this time..." She whispered. "Do so now."

"but i fear that if i close my eyes now, when i open them.. i may see you never again."

She strocked his cheek, softly. "Ill wake you if they try anything." She whispered. "I promise- no matter what."

"okay.." He whispered, "can you be my pillow?"

He smiled, and then laid his head onto her chest. "good night.."

Elda was curled up against Jeremy still, sighing.
