Giovanni rushed to him, and started to undress him from the wet clothing. "Jeremy." He picked him up, and looked at Everett. "We gotta get to Sora."

Jeremy growled, fericly as he could. "Im fine" He said, his eyes feirce, if dull. "I need... warmth, not medical attention."

Giovanni sighed, "go curl up next to Elda I guess. she's always warm."

Jeremys eyes closed. "You wouldnt... Mind?" He said, coughing.

"not at all." Giovanni laid him beside Elda.

Elda rolled in her sleep, putting her arms around Jeremy.

Avi was sittinng by herself, perched almost like a bird. She stared out at the horizon, her breath rising up in puffs of steam.

Alli was stroking her. "you.. need human flesh..?" He said quietly.

Avi nodded sadly. "I'm so ashamed."

Jeremy felt warmer in her arms- Odd, it seemed, that she would be the warmer one. He curled up in her arms, and started to doze off.

Giovanni yawned, and sat up still again. "i'll keep watch, like i said before."

Alli sighed, "is there.. anything else.. to satisfy you?"

Avi shook her head. "That's why sirens would sing, luring men to their death in ships." She gently stroked Alli, then murmured, "I don't want to give into those cravings..."

He sighed, and then kissed her. "okay.."

Avi took his hand. "Alli... do you want me to leave? Just say the word, and I will go, I understand." She was being fully serious now, pulling him close to gaze into the eyes she had fallen in love with, the pale blue that she adored.

Alli's eyes widened, and he pulled her even closer. He rocked back and forth with his girl, whispering in her ear. "never say such silly things. i love you so very much."

Avi said, "But Alli... look at what I am. I'm a flesh eating monstrosity, mixed with the blood drinking eternally damned. How is it you still love me?" She wrapped her arms around him, holding him close.

Alli lowered his lips to her neck, "because Aviance. your the only girl who's bee interested in me, romantically. your beautiful, kind.." He whispered. "must i prove i love you?"

Avi whispered, "Your sweet words are enough proof to last me through eternity." She closed her eyes, relaxing in his arms.

"okay." Alli whispered.

All Avi wanted was to stay like this, locked in hs embrace, his lips to her neck, forever. These were the things that kept her feeling happy about herself, that kept her sane. He was her anchor.

Jeremy and Everett were already passed out, with only a half awake Travis to keep Giovanni company.
