Dani smiled at Yulia, his eyes looking like they could shoot happy little sparks at her. "Hey, there..."

Hes my most original character, and hes Moonlight War specific.

Yulia stared at him, curious, and then cracked a smile.

"she's like me- a day walker. her, you would be able to hold. she wouldn't be affected." Sorrow smiled.

Dani blinked at her, and shook his head. "Im locked up...and worried." He said quietly. "But shes quite a cutie..."

Sorrow kissed Dani's cheek. "she'd be fine, trust me. come on.."

It seemed as if he had shrunked back, away form her. "Are you sure...?" He whispered. "I wouldnt want to hurt your newborn."

"if you want to wait for a while, you can." She whispered.

"Maybe she can touch my face?" He said quietly, blinking.

She nodded, "okay, love." Sorrow picked Yulia up, and she hugged him around the neck softly. She wasn't hurt at all.

Dani blinked, his eyes filled with nervousness...and then it died down, as he saw the girl was fine. He smiled. "Yay..." He said, quietly. "Shes not even afraid."

"she likes you, i think." Sorrow whispered.

He blinked, then nodded. "I cant hold her..."

"why not? how about next time i let you out?"

"I mean, Im locked up, so I cant hold her." He said quietly.

She unhooked the jacket again. "how bout now."

He wiggled out of it, reveiling his odd arms again. He nodded, weakly raising them.

Yulia reached for him, and Sorrow placed her on his lap.

He paused and, for the first time he could remeber, was able to stroke a kid. It was weak and shaky and both his hands failed after a few tries, but he was able to do it. He needed badly to rehabilitate his arms- maybe these times with Sorrow and her daughter would be good for him. He leaned over and nuzzled her, smiling.

Yulia started blowing spit bubbles at him, staring.

Sorrow smiled, and the hugged Dani. "maybe she can be your friend too?"
