He sighed, and nodded. "Its just, they stole...away at my..I dont know." He stopped, thinking.

Avi tried to piece together the bits and fragments, but her brain wouldn't cooperate. So, she turned and kissed Alli. "Thank you, again, for the lovely necklace. I keep it on at all times."

"When your....like me, for years, for years and years, I dont know." She whispered. "they didnt like me, and they did, and they taunted me and let me die...."

Alli looked at her, and then the necklace. "that's lovely.."

Sorrow stroked him, "ohh.."

Avi gently said, "I think it's the best gift anyone's ever given me. You cannot fathom, just how much it means to me... and the promise that comes with it... I just..."

he wasnt really making much sense, but he seemed happy enough to have someone listening to him.

Sorrow listened, to make him happy. She didn't get what he was saying, but she listened anyway.

Alli kissed her. "okay."

Avi said, "Come, let's walk together, you and I. I like talking with you."

Suddenly, he came onto something intellegent. "And then, when I look at your children, when I try to talk or play with them...they make weird noises and scream, as if I am a monster, as if I am not a human like them. They dont like me. No one likes me; Except you and Jeremy, and he only felt bad for me. Its like I have a plauge, and everyone wants to stay away."

Sorrow winced, "Dani.. it's.. because of the static. they can feel it coming off of you. it scares them. if we could get rid of that, you'd.. be fine.. Dani, I like you. A lot. Your my only friend besides my family and husband."

"I like you too." He said, nuzzling her innocently. "Because, your much better and nicer...you put up with me."

She smiled, "i have good patience.."

He faltered, and laid in her lap. "do you think im stupid?"

"no, of course not. just different.." Sorrow whispered.

He coked his head, and nodded. "Okay." He whispered. "Im..aha. Im getting better now. We can go back, if you want."

"no, let's stay here for a bit. i.. like talking to you." She started to take off his straight jacket.

Dani froze, iffy about what would happen when the built electricity left his body.

She wrapped around him and froze, growing colder. To try and block out the electricity.

Avi started singing random melodies mixed with poems that had no set tune.
