Avi kept strumming her guitar, changing to a different song. She hadn't really been able to concentrate lately. The concept of war loomed in the forefront of her mind and heart. She wondered if Alli thought about it the way she did.

Giovanni smiled softly, "it's nice.. to have someone around, besides all these young people. i have someone to talk to besides elda."

Alli listened, wondering.

Avi suddenly messed up, wincing as one of her strings broke. She shouldn't have tuned it so tightly. "Gosh dangit..."

Jeremy smiled a bit. "The young ones have so much a better chance to live..."

Alli blinked, "you okay." and then he had a question he had been dying to ask. "why do you have a guitar on a war zone."

Giovanni shrugged, "We can live too."

Avi said, "I take this guitar with me everywhere... I mean... it's one of two things from my past. The music box is the other thing."

He shrugged, and looked to the ceiling. "I know. As long as I can, as long as..you want, I suppose."

He smiled slightly, "don't rush death upon you, just wait for it to come on it's own."

Alli blinked, and just nodded. "oh, okay."

He smiled a bit too, then reached out and took back Kiara. "I know- besides..I want to see them for a while longer."

Giovanni nodded, "it's great.. watching children grow. how much they change." He hugged Luneth closer.

Kiara woke up, and then yawned. "grampa."

Luneth had fallen into a half daze by this point, and the sudden movement caused him to hiccup.

He stroked her, nodding in response to Gio. "Hello...Kiara."

She curled into him, "ho you.."

He blinked at Giovanni, then giggled and hiccuped again.

He tan his fingers through his hair. "Im fine.."

He laughed, and started to bounce him. "lovely."

Kiara nodded.

luneth sniffled a bit, the hiccups hurt, and it was a new feeling for him.

He set her down for a second, in his lap, to streach.

Giovanni seen the pain on his face, and stopped. "hurts, huh." He held Luneth upside down by his feet, to try and help the hiccups.
