she kissed behind his ear. "Never." She whispered. "All I know of back then is that, I would have done anything to stay with you."

Willard smiled, "and i gurantee that we will stay together." He looked at her, "but.. axie.. we might have to leave for war."

she pressed her lips together. "I feared as much. the skys retain their color."

Willard winced, "i think it be best.. if you.. the ladies, stay here. because you can look after the children, and we.. go on to fight."

"Willard.' She said firmly. "Hell if Im going to stay here and be a last resort while you men are fighting on the front line. Id rather fight with you then sit back here, and Sorrows plenty protective of all the children."

"well.." He looked at his nails again. "okay."

She sighed. "I know its where I will be most effective, or otherwise I would stay behind."

"I know thats it." she said quietly. "But Ill be fine."

she kissed him lightly. "you trust me this time?"

"just don't do anything stupid." He said.

"Nothing beyond my limit." She promised.

She nuzzled him. "But, which of us will stay behind to watch the children? Sorrow, I would hope, and Terra- Maybe my dad, but I really dont know what he wants to do."

"i think atleast two guys could stay behind. kyouri, and your dad. but.. my parents can stay too. then terra and sorrow can stay as well. but.. if kyouri goes, then everett should stay. we have to have atleast one younger guy to watch over them."

Rushed, she said, "Kyouri should stay. He may have been a soldier like Everett, but he signed himself up because he knew it would get him killed. Hes not fit for battle- He should stay. For his safety."
