Jordan supported him, so they were again supporting eachother. She sighed, and coughed up a little blood. She looked at the blood in her palm, and groaned. "For war.. This is agonizingly slow.." She said quietly, smiling.

Hige laughed horsly. "...yha..." He said, smiling at her. "....It always is the opposit of what you expect."

I have the perfect death scen for both Axie and Hige. But I will only kill one. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Jordan smiled, then let out a short breath. "..I know.." She looked at the ground beside her, wanting to say more to him, but she held the words back and cleared her throat.

Hige felt his bad leg start to give out. But he shoved the seering pain back and used all his strength to keep both him and Jordan up. "....eh? Where...are the people?'

 

[Stupidity]

Jordan looked up and glanced around. "..Not sure.. But it's getting kinda creepy.." She continued to look around for any sign of movement, any sign of some other living thing around them, but saw nothing..

"...eh....I think were ok....for now." He murmured. "As far as ok goes in....moder time....s"

Jordan nodded, then noticed that his bad leg was about to give out. She supported him, then helped him sit down, then sat down herself. "..Hige, I..." She said, almost inaudibly, but broke off because of another jolt of pain in her leg.

Hige sighed. He could tell by the expresion on her face she was troubled, and in a whole hell of a lot of pain. "...Jordan......dont move anymore..."

Jordan looked away. "Yeah.." She felt her face grow warmer.

Hige leaned agenst a wall. "...You know what would be ironic?" He mumbled.

Jordan looked up. "What?.." She asked, unsure if she really wanted the answer.

"If we were the only ones left."

Many 'What If''s ran through Jordan's mind at that moment. She cleared her throat a little. "Yeah...." She said, very quietly.

Higes eyes started into the nothingness left on the battlefeild; the carnage, the bloodshed. A chilling clam washed over him, somthing telling him that he was over his head naymore.

 

[Stupidity]

Jordan leaned on him, her face buried in the shoulder of his shirt. The overwhelming stress built up inside her as she thought of the battle, and what she and Hige were to face next..

Hige kept his arm on her shoulder and closed his eyes, comferting her.

Jordan was comforted. Eventually she lay down, too tired to stay awake any longer.

Hige sat there, moving his head sligtly to look ahead. This battle wasn't at its end.

Jordan woke a little while later. She sat up with a little difficulty, and looked at Hige. "..You can go to sleep, I'll watch now.."

"...i'm fine..." He said, his eyes sliding to her. "...really..."
