He looked at her for a little bit, before taking a small breath and beginning.

"...I think...I thought, I should get close to you, because you would be to much like Alice. but your not." He tacked the last part on quickly. "....You...you...Have some qualities to you, traits, they remind me of her sometimes. But your much better, really. there are, parts to you...that go so much farther down, so much deeper, something that I myself lack...and I love you for it."
