"Just a liking." Gale laughed, "possibly romantic."

Ishmael nodded and said, "Once Marie has settled down in her own, independent life, we could travel all over and taste different foods, explore different places."

Marie said, "Oh, I hope it's not romantic. He's very kind, but I'm in love with you, totally and completely." She wrapped her arms around him, kissing his chin gently.

"I'd love to do that." She nodded.

"Then find him a new girl." He shrugged, and then kissed her nose.

Ishmael said, "It wouldn't be hard to do, and I would like some alone time with my wonderful wife."

Marie moved and started kissing him passionately, paying attention solely to him.

Gale returned the kiss, and then started to whisper in her ear.

Ishmael said, "Oh, anywhere and everywhere! We could go visit my hometown, I really feel like you would love it there!"

Marie blushed, keeping her arms tightly wrapped around him, moving to kiss his neck.

"I would love to. Is the food good there?"

Gale let out a soft whimper again, and then began to spin her a bit.

Ishmael said, "It's wonderful! It's definitely comfort food, and everything is hearty and rich."

Marie let him spin her around, wondering what exactly he was doing.

Ishmael said, "Chicken, pork, beef, venison, everything we can get, really. We never say no when we find something edible. We just work our hardest to make it taste great."

Marie nodded and murmured, "Yes, I can dance. Why do you ask?"

"For the dance." Gale nodded.

Ishmael said, "I'll make sure that nobody gets any pork near you, then!" He laughed, then moved to sit beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

Marie said, "I'm completely ready for the dance. I hope that I'll get to wow you with my costume and overall appearance. Oh, make sure to wear something red." She kissed him gently, nibbling on his lower lip.

Gale was wearing an outfit he had in his closet that he never wore. He was wearing a tight pair of black pants which he tucked in a pair of nice old fashioned boots and a red silk shirt that had puffy sleeves. His hair was a little longer now, because he needed a hair cut, so it reached his shoulders. He tied it back in a red ribbon.

Marie was finishing her hair in her dorm, which she wore loose and curled, a slim green vine tiara resting on top her head head. She also had created a thorny vine look on her shoulders, using dark green makeup. Her dress was strapless, the bodice of the dress hugging her curves, then the skirt poofed into an elegant ball gown, layered like a rose. There was a long sash where the skirt and bodice met, and she had tied it into a large bow, letting the ends hang down. The dress was the color of a bright red rose, and she couldn't believe how flower-like it really looked. There were also random spots that gave off a silvery sort of glitter, like dew drops clinging to flower petals. Her makeup was somewhat minimal, not needing much to enhance her beauty. Under the dress, she wore a pair of red and silver heels.

Gale was waiting for her near the clock tower, where he told her to meet him. He wanted to be suprised at her outfit. He was imagining her in many different outfits and situations, curious to what she would wear.

Marie walked to the clock tower, smiling from ear to ear, not stopping to talk to her schoolmates who tried to get her attention. She acknowledged them, of course, but there was one person she had been longing to see. "Gale!" She called, waving as she walked toward him.

"You... You look so beautiful." He took her into his arms. "Such a lovely costume."

Pretty good! I'm feeling great because I hung out with my friend and my sis, and it was FUN!

Marie smiled and did a slow spin for him, so he could see all of the costume. Then, she went right back into his arms, beaming up at him. "I'm glad you like it! I'm a rose!"

"I can tell." He nibbled on her ear. "My beautiful Marie. I'm sorry I don't look too nice, buy you know me. I like old fashioned clothing."

Marie shivered at the feeling of him nibbling on her ear, blushing slightly. "You look so handsome, Gale. I love your clothes, and you and me look like we belong together. Which we... we do." She laughed breathlessly, cuddling closer to him.
