my weekend was... relatively boring, besides hanging out with a college friend, who's back in town for summer.
Aviance nodded eagerly and said, "Yes, now!.... Please? For me and our little baby? C'mon Oliver, tell daddy he needs to dance." Oliver grinned at Alli, letting out a happy squeaking sound.
Frexspar said, "You smell like one, in all honesty. Which is not a bad thing, let me tell you. In fact, I love your scent."
Aviance sighed and said, "You really think I would laugh at you? Ballet is a classic dance form, and I think it's beautiful!"
Frexspar held him close to his chest, taking in his scent, as if proving his point. "If you smelled bad, for instance, I would tell you to buy cologne. But you'd better not buy it, or I'll find it and throw it away."
It's weird, how, once you get into bed, you just CAN'T stay awake. it seems impossible!
Aviance thought for a minute, then started singing "The Last Rose of Summer." Oliver looked up at Aviance, surprised. What was she doing with her voice? How did she make it sound so pretty?
(If you need a reference sound, youtube "Celtic Woman last rose of summer. It's definitely one of the best versions I've heard)
"Oh, but please wear deodorant," Frexspar said. "Because I don't want to smell nasty body odor! It'll mask your nice smell!"
Aviance kept singing, letting her voice glide easily, smoothly, almost like water. She watched her husband intently, completely transfixed by how graceful he was, how every movement seemed so fluid and beautiful.
Frexspar grinned and said, "Good! Then I'll definitely continue getting closer and closer to you."
Aviance finished singing eventually, and then went silent, only able to focus on Alli. A soft smile graced her features, but that was all she could do at that moment. Alli was amazing.
Frexspar shivered and said, "Teasing me again? Really, if I didn't know better, I would think you wanted me!"
