"To keep them safe." She sighed quietly.

Metax nodded. "Will you ever go back?" He asked.

"Never." She whispered. "Not until the day I become strong."

"I'll be with you. I'll protect you. You can go, I won't let anyone harm you or your family." He whispered.

"I'm lost though." She sighed.

Aviance said, "That sounds like fun! Can I play with you sometime?"

Metax sighed. "You should be with them, your lucky you still have them. Don't let those greedy people worry you... I'll take care of them."

Kiara smiled, "Sure!" She picked the ball up. "Catch?"

"I... I don't think that would work." Anja whispered.

Aviance caught the ball, but pretended to fumble a bit. Giggling, she tossed the ball back to Kiara. "Do you play catch with the other kids too?"

My new game is SO addicting. It's pretty pathetic how obsessed I've become.

Aviance nodded, continuing the game. "I see." She smiled. "I bet it's a lot of fun when all of you play together."

Frexspar was dressing himself silently, a smile plastered on his face. He turned and looked at Demetri and winked. "I haven't felt this good in years."

Demetri was red, his eyes shiny. He pulled the covers over his head, so Frexspar wouldn't see him crying a little. "That's good." He whispered.
