Lise beamed up at Demetri, then suddenly turned and squealed loudly, her eyes widening.

Out of a grove of trees stepped a spindly young man, with wild red hair and big blue eyes. He was a handsome guy, but he had a fierce look about him. "Hmph," he said, keeping his distance. "The likes of you should not be in my domain."

Aviance said, "I know the feeling, Alli. And... I'm sorry that tis happened so soon. Just... say the word, and I'll leave."

i just discovered something amazing.

ritz + cream cheese= beautiful.

She pulled him down beside her, resting her head against his chest. "You're awfully adorable."

Demetri stepped forward, putting Lise behind him. "I apologize- we're just taking this path." Demetri noticed that feirce look to him, and it made him curious.

Alli shook his head. "You're not going anywhere. Neither am I. We're a team."

Metax smiled. "You are too." He said, putting his arm around her.

I've never tried it. But it sounds really good.

Lise peeked out from behind her dad, both hands covering her mouth.

The young man laughed, but it was a harsh sound. "Well really? Since you've already intruded, it's only fair that I get to punish you!"

Lise whimpered audibly, and the man looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "However..." He continued, "I can see that perhaps it would be a tiny bit too cruel to cause physical harm. So, I will take some form of payment instead."

Aviance nodded slightly, but it was melancholy, and a bit sad. "But... you're not obligated to stay with me, you know."

there's nothing in the house to eat,

so i'll live off of it.

Demetri blinked. "I have nothing to pay you with. May I improvise?" Demetri asked. "Anything, as long as it has nothing to do with my daughter. Anything."

Anja giggled, kissing back. "You were so red before~"

Metax blushed. "I was just... Surprised, that's all." He laughed.

Living off of crackers and cream cheese? Sounds like a plan! xD

The young man said, "You have a backpack. Put its contents on the ground. or else--" he looked at Lise. "I might show my nasty side. And we wouldn't want that now, would we?"

Lise scooted closer to Demetri, her heart racing.

its not like i have my soup stash-

finished it yesterday ;___;

no cereal or waffles either.

Demetri wasn't scared, at all. This guy reminded him of someone he used to know. He put the back pack on the ground, and then dumped everything out. It was nothing but clothes for his little girl, and a teddy bear. The sandwhich had fallen out earlier, and nothing was left. "I assume you don't wear dresses, or sleep with stuffed animals anymore? I told you sir, I have nothing."

Metax nodded, looking down. "I really am sorry."

Today I have lived on cereal and ramen. xD

if there were no ramen, I might be dead.

The guy came forward, out of the shadows of the plants, and on his back was a pair of feathered wings, which were a shade of navy blue, silver, and white, like flecks of stars in a midnight sky. He knelt down and picked up the bear. "This is what I want," he told them. Except he wasn't really talking to Demetri, but to Lise. "I will take good care of this...." He then looked at Demetri and said, "Seeing as I now have something of yours... I assume you might want something from me."

"... Who, may I ask, are you?" Demetri had this stare in his eyes, admiring this person's wings. His face wasn't bad, either. He pulled Lise close to his chest now.

Alli shook his head, "Avian, I want to stay with you. That necklace is my proof."

Anja smiled, "it was my fault. Don't apologize.

Metax nodded. "I love you so much. Is there anything I could do for you?" He asked.

Beef is the best. chicken is yucky!

The man said, "I'm Frexspar, son of a vampire and a siren." He ruffled his wings threateningly. "And who are you?"

Aviance nodded mutely, pulling Alli closer to her. They had made a promise, one that they both intended to keep. There was no turning back now.

Demetri wasn't threatened. "I am Demetri Villa Orzo. Son of two vampires." He smiled, his own wings popping out. "Must you try to be frightening? I don't want to be enemies."

Alli kissed her cheek, "don't worry. I'll be there for you and the baby always."

Anja smiled, "Not that I know of."

Metax nodded. "If you ever need anything, just tell me." He smiled.

I only eat the beef and roast beef kinds. xP

Frexspar said, "I certainly don't want to be friends, either!" He frowned and crossed his arms, his stance becoming less threatening and more arrogant.

Aviance nodded again, and said, "I sure hope the baby gets here soon. This concept of waiting frightens me a bit."

i like the roast beef better than regular beef

"And why not?" Demetri whispered, wanting to laugh. This guy was strange, and he enjoyed it. He smiled still.

Alli smiled, "the baby will come soon enough."

Anja nodded, "I will. Thank you."
