"I don't think there's anything wrong with being weird," She told him, still laughing. "Besides, you're still with me. That must mean you don't mind, either!" She removed one of her hands from his ears, and took one of his hands in hers.
Last post.

Croy flashed his long and dangerous teeth, amused. He didnt say anything though, only leaned back.

Peopled started to turn their attention to him, and a few of the dwellers started to mumble about his worried state and lack of Dani.

Jeremy, the first to sense his preascence, was also the first to speak up.

"Where is Dani?"

"He's in hiding. He's safe, but... He won't stop the transformation. We need Sora and Sorrow. He's still in that rough state- He needs help."

Jade leaned forward and kissed him passionately. She drew back eventually, and told him, "Besides, if I weren't here, who would I be able to do THAT to? Nobody. And, now that I think about it, there's nobody I WANT to do that to, besides you."

"I would hope so." Croy commented, dryly.

Kyouri shook his head. "Sorrow is sleeping. She was up all night."

Everett chewed on his lip a bit. "Sora... hes around. He and his wife went out to pick some herbs."

Jade gently scratched behind his ears, then lay back, and rested the back of her head in her hands. "Someday.... maybe I can take you to where I come from. It's still here, but... well, at the same time, it isn't."

"Nearly. We've been..... scattered, if you will." She choked up slightly. "The humans found us, and ransacked it, killing many while they were in slumber, regaining energy for the day they would need to awaken once more. The rest of us ran. It was beautiful. My mother was the handmaiden of the great spirit, the being that created us spirits that live here. And she was giving prayers to the great spirit, asking him to save us..... and then they.... and then...."

Jeremy was still stiff- they had an enexpected freeze the night before, and he was caught out hunting in it. He had been moving slowly all morning, otherwise he would have helped.

seemingly no one spoke up for a few minuets, even though one little girl in particular had woken up crying.

"Shh..." He murmured, stroking her hair, smoothing it out. "...Humans. As awful as they are, they dont know any better."

"They beheaded her. And put her head on a pike, parading it around, to show what they had done. They had conquered the spirits. They had destroyed us. They won. And my father and I had to watch them slay her. And I did nothing to save her. And every day, I have to carry that with me. I had to watch her die. I wish it had been me."

Someone surprising stood up and ran out behind him, catching up with him as he ran through the woods. "...Ill help!"

It was Kyouri. Everyone they left behind seemed absolutely stunned, as they all knew his hate for the pink-haired boy.

He held her close, stroked her. "...Why would you wish such a thing upon yourself? Had you died, where would I be? And your father?" Stroking her cheek, he added, "The worst thing a parent could ever do, is bury a child before themselves."

"My father would be better off without me. I was young, I had barely even begun my life. And look how I've come out. I can't protect the creatures. That was why I was born. And look, the humans are killing them all. I've failed."
