Willard started to look angry. "I got him then. Just me." He looked at the sleeping Avar's face, and looked at the ceiling afterwards.

Axie was able to withstand his little snap at her, with an apathetic look on her face. "Willard? Do you really think we are able to haul him over two continents, tundra, war and starvation, malady, cliffs...." She shook her head. "Bringing a bunch of healthy kids along with us will be hard enough. Bringing a sick and feeble guy with us will just be that much more work- and he might die, despite all the work we put in for him."

She sighed, and sat back, frustraited. "So you want to live in die in a lab, rather then breaking free? Are you more worried about these kids, then your real ones at home? Your family? You love them more then your own family?"

She bared her teeth- the fangs were hard to make out, simply because all of her teeth were as long as her fangs. One thing that hadnt changed from her being a wolf.

"I'll leave, then. I'll go without you. I'll just... tell everyone back home that you died. Or something. Or maybe I'll tell them the truth, that you didnt want to come back at all. Im sure that will go over well."

Getting up out of her chair, she stalked to the other side of the room, before turning and looking him in the eye for a long while. Slowly, she pulled open the door behind her, and started out. She turned one last time before shutting the door, and added, menecingly, "Ever since I turned, I've been falling out of love with you anyways."

And then she left, slamming the door hard enough to wake Avar up.

Willard's jaw dropped, and his heart sank a bit. He clutched his chest, his heart beating faster than ever. He was shaking, and then sobs started to pour out after a while. "Axie!" He cried. His head felt like it was spinning. She didn't... She didn't love him anymore? He couldn't take it.

Axie had left though, and she wasnt coming back down- the trapdoor was heard slammed just outside the door.

Avar, however, was awake to hear it all, and he reached up slowly to try and wipe away Willards raining tears.

He calmed down, knocking on the door gently. "A-A-Axie, please, let me in." But then he cursed a bit- he wasn't supposed to leave Avar alone.
