Luneth was running full speed in his wolf form to the two of them, with Parade on his tail. She was visibly shaking, but Luneth had an excited, blazing fire in his eyes that none of them had ever seen, a fire that seemed to put life in his step where there was no life before.

Sorrow picked Parade up, and then Luneth. "Where were you two?!"

Parade was to shaken up to say anything or even change into a human to say anything, but Luneth turned right away and, though he wsnt smiling, looked more excited then ever. "We saw the big cat!" He sad loudly, enthusiastially.

"NEVER do tha again, Luneth. NEVER. Both of you- don't."

Kyouri looked more angry then worried now. "She would have killed and eaten you both with a swipe and a bite! She... She almost killed me, just by bumping me out of the way! NEVER do that again, you two, EVERYONE is worried and looking for you, and you two could have been killed!"

Luneths excitement died, and he looked down. Parade, however, was still shaking, her eyes wide with fear, and her hears wee pressed to her head and her tail under her body.

Sorrow shook her head, "babies, never again. She's..."

Parade manged to turn back, but before she could speak, Luneth sighed and spoke again. "She talked to us!"

Her eyes narrowed. "What did she say?"

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"Well..." He looked at Parade. "We woke her up and made her very upset, so she captured Parade under her paw so we would stay and talk to her. She asked us why we were dumb to come talk to her, and where..." His face darkened. "Our parents were.'

"Don't ever go near that cat again, you hear me? Did she say anything else? Is Parade hurt?"

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"Im okay mommy." Parade said quietly. "She didnt hurt me, she just made me sit still."

Luneth nodded, then said, "After I told her my parents wents away, she was nicer and told us a story, but I didnt get a lot of it because she was talking about stuff I dont know about. Then she said she was tired and let Parade go, so we ran away."

Sorrow's eyes softened, "please... Just don't sneak out ever again, the both of you." She held them close. "We were all so worried."

Parade nodded, closing her eyes and nuzzling close to her mom and whimpering lightly. Luneth, however, looked away from them.

"Luneth." She whispered, "I love you too."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"But your not my mommy." He said, dryly. "Your just trying to be mommy like Terra, but your not ever going to be mommy.'

Sorrow's eyes narrowed again, "... Fine Luneth, I'm not your mom. But I still care about you. You are family, and oh so precious like the rest of the children."

He nodded, but he didnt say anything and he didnt look at her.

"I just want to keep you in good shape and such for when your mommy and daddy return."

"They are no coming back!" He yelled suddenly, his eyes tearing up. "They will no come back."

Sorrow bit her lip. "Yes, yes they will."
