"You wont get mad if I ask?" He murmured.

"No, I could never be mad at you. Ask." He whispered into his ear.

"Why is it you are so hard and hateful twords your son if your Bi too?" He murmured.

He bit his lip. "The thing is, I never knew I had these feelings... Till I met you. Actually, you're probably the only guy I'll ever love. In all honesty, you're amazing. Now that I know what it feels like, to be Willard, I... I won't look down on him like that any longer."

He was still thinking. "But what will he say when he finds out?"

"... I really don't know, Jeremy. I just hope he accepts me."

Jeremy held him a bit, stroking his head and back. "I know he will."

"I hope your right." He whispered, and then clung onto him.

He nodded, still holding on. "One more question." He murmured.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Im still dying." He whispered. "What will happen to you, when... the time comes? Im old, Gio. Sometimes its hard for me to get up because the cold or the wet stifins my bones."

"I'll refresh you, Jeremy. I won't let you leave! I'll... I'll make you a vampire. Just please, don't wish to die!" He started to tear up. "Please, Jeremy, please..."

He shook his head. "I dont want to die. Not anymore. Not that I have a family, and lovers, again. but sometimes..." He looked distant. "Its hard. And I am reminded how much of a tole the old experiments took on me, how much I paid for this... this stupid wolf I have become."

He buried his face in her hair, taking her hand in his. He opened his mouth, and murmured, in an almost songlike voice (though it was doubtful Croy was ever going to be able to sing)-

"My dearest friend, if you dont mind....

Id like to join you by your side.

Were we can gaze into the stars.... and sit together,

now and forever...."

Giovanni hugged him tight, "No more, will you suffer. Not when I'm around."

He smiled at him, kissing him dead on the lips. "Ill hold you to that."

Giovanni returned the kiss, and then laid his head down on Jeremy's shoulder. "You bet."
