"Before the war, they tried to get me and Willard married. The older members of the family." The smiled faded. "We both disagreed to it. His parents too."

"Thats nasty." He frowned. "That they would try that."

"I know its nasty. We love each other, but as family and friends."

"I remeber overhearing Willard talk about how his family was inbred, to keep the royal blood and purity flowing." He sighed. "Thats what happened to you, isnt it?"

Toby suddenly blinked, bumping into Avi, who was standing in front of a strange vault-like building.

"Ah, you're here! Good, good!" She chirped, clapping her hands together. "I saw your sister come this way, so I sent out a signal. It's wonderful that you can hear what my heart has to say!"

Toby nodded gravely, then said, "So... how to get in...."

"Thats why you guys- At least, you and Willard- have, you know, problems." He sighed, and kissed her. "Thats why."

"It was far back though, in the time line. near the beginning." Sorrow shook her head.

"But... it does affect you." He said, quietly.

Sorrow hesitated, thinking. "I... Suppose." She shook a little, "Its not my fault. Please don't leave me."

He kissed her, stroking her side. "Why would I leave you? Ever?"

"because i do things i regret." She whispered.

"So do I. Everyone does." He whispered, kissing her. "But I would never, ever leave you. For anything."

"I'm lucky to have you, Kyouri." She played with his hair, feeling a little better. She giggled slightly, "I'm bored."

He laughed a little, smiling. "I am too."
