Toby whispered, "She's not like anyone else. Neither am I. We're not human... we're not vampire, or animal, or anything anyone has ever told stories about before. Even we don't know what we are. But... the humans, with their search for answers, their thirst for knowledge, however harmful that information may be.... they want to find out. Even if it means we perish." He was much wiser than you average kid, that's for sure. "And seeing her like that... it makes me.... me...." His stomach twisted into a knot. "You don't even know how beautiful she is when she smiles, or laughs. She's all I have. She's my world, and I'm hers. We share the same DNA, but also much more."

Jade's hand twitched. So many breaths.... too many for her to bear. She closed her eyes, crying freely. Toby didn't have anyone to take care of him without her.

"Trent Frost Ryuuya." She nodded. "I like it."

Croy coughed, visciously, and chocked on his spit as he talked. "Kid.... Toby. Toby. If I can help you..." Stopping, taking a breath, he continued. "And bring you to a place... a place, no one will find you. Can you take care of each other?"

Sora smiled, "yes, it does." But then he heard the sound of hooves surrounding the house. He looked a little frightened, "they're back."

Toby said, "How can you say nobody will find us?" He looked down sadly. "Jade tried to make the same promise before. Now look where she's ended up. No.. I... I can't ask for your help anymore. You've suffered enough at our hands already." Then he sat on the ground and closed his eyes, trying to seek her out again.

 

[Self:.:Pity]

Her eyes narrowed, and she fingered her gun. "Why?"

"I can promise you a place to go, because I know of a place no one goes. you made the mistake of staying close to humans- I know how to get a..." He coughed. "Away. Listen- I want to help you, believe it or not."

"I... I don't even know!" He looked around at everyone else.

Toby suddenly got up and walked towards the innermost part of the woods. All around him, the sunlight began to fade, the temperature began to cool. The silence became thicker and thicker, almost smothering. But Toby kept moving.

Croy coughed again, trying to think of how Toby could help him first. What was it? It wasnt A saving in the conventional sense. Spells and Item collections... sacrifice... they all did nothing. He was black as to how he could break this odd... curse.Didnt it have to do with reattachment of some sort? Whatever. He forced himself up, and followed the kid, the new annoyance.

Antoinette was very, very afraid, but didnt show it. "What.. could they do to us. We didnt break their rules."

"I don't know, Antoni." He shuddered.

"Shhh." She hugged him. "...Look, Ky thinks he knows what hes doing."

He was guarding his son and trying to get the other kids together, to be protected.

Sorrow was shaking, but was growing her ice swords again. It had been a long time since she had used them.

Elda was asleep, unaware. Giovanni was gaurding her, ready for anything.

Terra, she didn't even notice anything whats so ever.

Everett was in the same boat as Terra. They were clueless- Kyouri left them as such, put picked up Travis, and Jeremy took him too and sat protectivly over his grandchildren and the other kid. He had fight left in him. He had also moved closer to Elda, and the kids slept closely next to her.

Dani had woken up, as well, and put the girls with their brother and sat next to Sorrow, confused but ready to protect them.

"Me, Sora, and Antoinette will take care of this." Sorrow said quietly.

"I can fight!" He said, quietly but insistantly. "When you need me, I can fight...."

Kyouri stroked Sorrows head. "Me too. Im fighting."

"okay. the more the better." She nodded.

"...I can watch the kids until you need me." Dani whispered.

Antoinette sighed, and glared at the door. "What are they waiting for?"

"I don't even know." Sora whispered, and started to approach the door.

She held the gun off to the side, waiting, to see if they would try to invaid or hurt Sora or something.

The same that talked to Giovanna came up to them, an angry look. "you stole the leader."

Antoinette looked shocked, and slid down, next to Sora. 'We did what....?"
