Mesutchi/Osutchi Question

I'm thinking of purchasing an Osutchi/Mesutchi set, but the colors of the shell aren't the matching set. I was wondering if this affects their ability to connect together and breed in any way, or if it's simply a superficial difference. Thanks!

Nah, the shells are nothing but the outside, I'm pretty sure. As long as one of them is Osu and the other is Mesu, you should be fine!

Yep shells don't mean anything. Just make sure it's one male, one female. (Blue background and pink background if you're unsure of the shell colors.)
