So case closed I guess, the Tama-go came out about 2 - 3 weeks ago on Amazon.

They are suppose to start hitting shelves in stores In August. It is on the Tamagotchi Blog.

Some stores *may have them now...

Amazon has some for order (Watch the sellers, one has a huge over-price on them)

Target has a Pre-Order

Walmart.... nothing so far.

ToysRUs has had them at random online recently.
