Where did you find that out?
I don't think that's true because when your older relationships will last years & more [including high school]. It's probably true if you're talking about primary school though.

I think that's a bit of a stretch too. I would not doubt it for middle school though. x.x My friend had a 'boyfriend' for something like 3 classes.

Almost 4 years. We kept it secret,but we broke up when i found we woulden't be going to the same school toghether.

I think that was a stupid reason to break up. Me and my boyfriend don't go to the same school either, but we've managed to have 6 months of us dating and it has gone perfect. We see each other almost everyday and he picks me up from school sometimes too (he has a car, so basically he's older than me. He's almost 18)

Some people find it hard to be with someone if there school is miles away - we don't actually know how far away their schools are so it's wrong to say it's stupid. It isn't stupid anyway because people have different limits.

My boyfriend doesn't go to college [like I do] he's lazy and doesn't do anything! But somehow he always has alot of money. But when we where at school we did go to the same one and it was nice to be with him all through school then at home too . He can drive too and he comes to pick me up from my house and sometimes college - my college is in town so if he came picking me up all the time he'd be stuck in traffic for about an hour there [it's quicker getting back] so it's easier to catch the bus to his house.
