I communicate with my parents in Cantonese, but I'm not that adept at it myself...

However, I'm currently studying Japanese, and I enjoy it lots :)

English is my primary language, but I've also been taught French and Spanish. I've studied Russian as well.

Self-teaching Japanese, but I'm ashamed of how bad I am at it haha

lol, I did teach myself Japanese towards the end of my high school moments myself, but I mainly familiarised myself with hiragana/katakana (beginning with the latter, believe it or not) as well as some grammar. Wasn't till early 2013 that I officially sat Japanese classes : P

Currently learning Japanese since grade 5 but only really got into it in year7 currently top in my class (if I do say so myself) I know obviously know the main alphabets and learning as much kanji as I can, when I went to osaka for two weeks with school everyone I spoke with was so shocked at how well I spoke I'm hoping to get even better tho, one of my friends calls me a walking Japanese dictionary because everyone in class is always asking me what this word or that means, but I call her the walking English dictionary because of how good she is at English.

I took French from Year 9 to Year 11 in high school, but I don't remember as much of it as I used to.

Once I finish this bridging course at university and go onto my degree, I might take Japanese as an elective paper, I tried to learn it once, and I know like 10 things off the top of my head.

Tagalog/Filipino is my native tongue. Almost all Filipinos can speak English so umm yea. Know a little bit of French 'cause of mom an enrolled in a Japanese training school this summer. Also know a Filipino dialect called "Bisaya" which is different from Tagalog.

Woop woop 5-lingual.

French is the only other language I know. I'm practically fluent in it. but not quite yet :p

I'd rate my french around 80-95%

I can sort of understand some spanish, but my accuracy is like 20% :p

I can also speak/read/write/understand Vietnamese. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, including AP Spanish but my skills, especially the speaking part, leave more to be desired. I've been working on it though because there are a lot of Spanish-speaking patients at the hospital at which I work.

I know Spanish, English, German, Japanese and Chinese.

But I'm only fluent in Spanish and English...

I'm going to take the First Certificate of English and the Youth Chinese's tests in May (wish me luck! :D ), and last year I got the Fit in Deutsch.

I can't do any Japanese tests here though... :(

teaching myself japanese using google translate. i know, i know, its terrible, but its FREE.

I speak French fluently and I'm teaching myself Japanese, which is going pretty well actually! I know a decent amount of German and I used to know a bit of Polish, but I've forgotten most of it now. I love languages :p

I'm currently learning Norwegian as I now live here :3 but I also know some Mandarin from my family (it's been a while since I last went to Singapore so it's very rough) and I know basic Korean.. Learnt French and German at school but that's going back some years now lol

Okay I know my siggy says that English is my only language but I AM IN FACT BILINGUAL

It's just I can't really speak my second language online. 'Cause it's American Sign Language. And it's so much easier for me to speak. Because like...I'm talking with my face and motions. It's weird and hard to explain. It's just easier.

I'm also learning Hiragana kinda sorta but I'm being terrible about it 'cause I haven't been working on it everyday but like you know I'm busy and stuff yeah whatever.

Oh yeah, I also tried to learn Polish like two years ago, but I gave up because I couldn't get the hang of pronouncing all the different letters.

I've been studying Japanese for the past 3 years at school and that's been really fun and I'd like to think I'm decent at it. I can also understand basic Te Reo Maori because of 9 years of kapahaka and it's frequent use during school since primary. Also very limited Samoan from being around my Nana and her side of the family.

I really wanna learn Italian and German though.

My primary language is English, I can speak a small bit of French from what I remember from my GCSEs.
But I'm currently teaching myself Dutch and then hoping to try and teach myself Japanese so I can understand my Tamas more.
Japanese would come first but the Dutch is more urgent with moving plans so :/

Almost forgot, if it counts, I know a bit of NZ Sign Language, individual letters at least - I have a friend who communicates with sign language and he taught me the letters, and some other words.

I speak Italian as first language. Then I can speak English and understand French and Spanish. I studied French in my elementary and (middle?) school (it means from when I was 8 till I was 13). I never studied Spanish but it's so similar to Italian that is very easy to understand for me XD. I'm trying to learn Japanese from Internet, anime and free media, but I only know Hiragana, a bit of Katakana and some kanji!! :p
