Well here in North-East Florida the stupid School Board for the county is literally trying to make School YEAR ROUND. They sent a bill to Tallahassee to see if they approve (Tallahassee is the state capital) Which when I heard it made me very freaking mad!

I think if the idiot adults do this, the children would only have 2 weeks of Summer Vacation, and have no time to learn at ALL. And I heard they do this in Japan, from reading a note online some Japanese dude said that his Students' can barely learn anything.

I hope Tallahassee don't pass this bill! First Jacksonville, Then Florida, Then the WHOLE United States! Help me!

Yeah.. Online petition of kid's signatures isn't going to do anything.

The school board's administrators would have to have a meeting about it and decide weither to do it or not.

A bunch of kids complaining about it isn't going to get anything done.

Its not a good Idea to fight back the school system and no use taking any action cause kids have no say

 
True Fact: Kids need a break, and thats what summer break is. This is nothing but a rumor created by a kid who doesn't think straight.

Teachers and adults know that a year of school could cause emotional and brain-damaging problems. therefore No country or state would pass this.

I think your right, though my dad rarely lies. I googled the County and "Year Round School Bill" Some stuff came up, but not for the North East Florida area.

But I'm still down with this bill, cause if it was real I would quit school and do Florida Virtual School ><

 
Our school board sucks, too. They're trying to make us wear school uniforms. I really don't want to.

I also don't want school year round. I agree with digital-gamer-giga. We need a break from school and that's what summer break is. Our summer break is becoming less and less every summer, now. Especially this year, but that's cuz we had a lot of snow days.

 
Move to a different state if you have to.

i don't wanan go to a YEAR-ROOUND school.uniforms are bad enough.

 
My mom told me that if it happens I will go to school in Germany or be home schooled (because I have tons of family in Germany and I know German)
