Japanese Tama-Go or not?

Look at what I found!

I was actually wondering if they had Tama-Gos in Japan, and what do you know, they do! I really like the looks of the Japanese ones... They have the anime-style. I found a pic of a Gotchi Figure too...

...But why is the word Tamagotchi in English? Are they from some other country or something? And why haven't I seen these ones before...? I would like to know what country they are from...

Well, if you look on your iD L, on the metal rim it's in English. Also, with the 'happy birthday' animations, they're in English.

I think these were probably just a prototype, because I don't believe that Japan got the Tama-go...

The Tamagotchi reminds me of the episodes' title text.... I haven't watched any episodes of it in a rather longtime though...

If I didn't know any better, It was re-boxing and re-selling it....

It might be a tamago for France? It's the South America Tama-Go made by Bandai & Long Jump. Long Jump's made some other toys with other toys too. Bandai Japan showcased the Tama-Go, with the latest releases from the countries.

AAh, it's from Brazil because the site I got the pics from said ".br" at the end... Do they have the Tama anime in Brazil...? If not, why would they use the show's logo?

I also noticed that on the Gotchi Figure, it has a picture of a pink Tama-Go with Chamametchi instead of Kuchipatchi! I want a Chamametchi Tama-Go so much...
