Is this Tamagotchi design rare?

I just got a Tamagotchi and I'm wondering if the shell patterning is rare. I've never seen one like it before (well except for pictures on the Internet), but after extensive searching on Google I discovered that the design is called "Sweet Candy".

hmmm..ive never seen a tama lie tht...you could be right..or it could be a fake or foreign tama

As far as I'm aware it's just a regular V2 design, although I think it was probably one of the later design releases on the V2 rather than the first wave. I don't think it's rare- if you wanted to buy ANY V2 new now, yes they are harder to find because they are not being made any more.

I like the design. It's very bright and colourful.

of course! how did we miss that! no antenne! so its a late v2, not rare....but harder to fid like all v2s

No. 5 of my friends have it and about 10 other people at school have it.

Even a teacher had it.

And at Toys R Us, I saw more of that design than anything else.
