Go for maplestory.

Let me advise you, though, that playing it on a nexon server is a grueling, grindy, kill stealing nightmare.

i'd highly recommend a private server. There are TONS of them out there, and they're all terrific fun.

How about Ragnarok Online? It certainly doesn't screw your computer like MapleStory does, although you do have to pay to play.

MapleStory! But when you play on the MapleStory servers they have on it, you MUST STAY IN LOW-BAR CHANNELS. Unless you're scared to go alone, don't choose Ch. 1 or high-bar channels.
