I know this might seem strange, but I think this website is slowly decaying as we know it. People. Are not talking about tamagochi often, too much vip and premeum šŸ’©. The signs are showing. So this post is basically a reminder to keep posting.

It is, but thatā€™s because the rise of social media taking away activity from forums smh.

Promoting tamatalk on social media can help drive new members in!

Weā€™re also a very niche community and even those who like Tamas have never considered posting here.

Tamas are seeing a resurgence and some players/collectors like me keep our interest private to avoid ridicule from ignorant people. So I think this will always be a safe haven.

I think it is more of a result of the forum format sorta dying off. which is unfortunate as it allows easy archival of community answers on topics (and the debate of them).

Many moved to Discord or other methods, which ... well I cannot exactly find answers using Google on those.. Gotta hop in and hope a server actually has info...

the rise of discord has put a dent in a lot of online communities, but its content doesnā€™t show on google, so forums are still better.

Forums are still flourishing and doing well across the internet. Google recently started more content in the search engines under the ā€œforums and discussionsā€ tab, so this is boasting traffic on a lot of niche forums.

Tamatalk might be able to obtain more members by being listed on some directories that list online communities as well.

Possibly, Iā€™ve been around here for one year but never registered. Thatā€™s why I registered and the other reason is because I had the urge.

Thanks for registering. We are hoping you can invite other Tamafriends to join in. And the nice thing about a forums is that stays and is easier to find information than most other forms of meeting with friends.
