I highly believe it's grain. I doubt it's really corn. Just because a food has a certain name in it doesn't mean it has the food inside it.. Argh.. I can't think of a example, there's this food.. I forget..

Okieez, letz all think about it for a second.

Corn=Starch, the last time I've checked.

Popcorn=Corn.

Conclusion: Popcorn=Starch.

And the reason why everyone thinks that popcorn is unhealthy would be because everyone (Or at least everyone I know) puts butter on it, or else it would pretty much taste like nothing.

Face it guys, everyone is going to have their own opinions.
