Okay so, I recently dug up my old V2 tamagotchi along with it's old V1 counterparts... I started to play my V2 again, only to find my old Whaletchi and her baby from one of my older V1 tamas. The first night I left it on, it fell asleep with the newborn, and I noticed in the middle of the night that a pair of Zz's were missing! By morning, I had to name the new baby tama and the mother was gone. I'm assuming she stays gone and we now raise the new baby tama, generation 2.

Now all of this I'm clear on, but here's my question. I've looked at the character charts for V2, G2- (Generation 2), and I see a lot of adult tamas I'd love to have!

(In case I need to specify which ones, the chart is here on this page- (https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=24082)- and the adult ones I'd like are as follows: Kaerutchi (#1, most wanted!) Chohimetchi (#2) Flowertchi (#3).)

Is there any way, in the way that I raise them or something that I can get a certain result? I don't want to bother with that "debug" thing, as I'd rather not take a chance of doing it wrong and ruining my tama. Also, I enjoy raising them myself! If there's no other way, then that's all right. I'm just trying to figure this out. I know that with V1 there were some sites that said if you raise it a certain way, it will become a certain tama. For example: Getting the robot appearing tama said you had to fulfill it's heart's needs but neglect it's body. I'm trying this with one of my V1's to see if it works.

Also, I read on a site somewhere that after you enter the 5 secret shop codes, your tamagotchi becomes immortal. Is this true? And if so, what if I get an adult that I don't like and wish to start a generation three instead? A lot of questions come with that so I'll leave it with, rumor or not? Sorry if it's already posted, I must have missed it!

Thanks for all the help!

I know that you can get Chohimetchi by taking perfect care of it as a teenager (always get it to the toilet, never let it drop more than 1 heart on Hungry and/or Happy, don't let it get overweight, etc.), but my first Tamagotchi was a v3, so I don't know too much about v2 (I do know quite a bit about the menu options of v1 and v2, however).

I'll have to try that next time, thanks. That sounds a bit hard, as I know mine went to bed at 9pm, but as to when it wakes up, I'm not sure on the exact hour but I know it's much before me. I'd have to pause it at night thus slowing it's growth process, but it'd be worth it, I do suppose. :) I'm about to mate my current tamagotchi I was trying to get Kaerutchi with...

Petitchi > Hotodetchi ( :mimitchi: ) > Hinotamatchi > Memetchi ( )

0yr ^ 1yr ^ 2-3yr ^ 4yr ^

I took as best care I could, there was only once that it fell asleep as a teenager with one heart missing off of happy. It was mainly morning's I made it wait for me to get up, it got quite upset a few times then but that was all. I only managed to catch her to get her to the potty on time, just once. But I'll see what pausing it and caring for it when I have so much undivided attention time for it. Thank you for the advice!

If anyone knows anything on how to get Kaerutchi still, please let me know! I'm against debugging as I'd rather not screw up and ruin my tama permanently!

Well, mated my Memetchi with my other's (I forgot the name), the one with the big nose and looks kinda like a worm, says his nose blows up when he's angry and deflates when he's sad. Still seeking any and all information for Kaerutchi, is he really as rare as everyone's talking about? And a few questions on my first post in this topic still haven't been answered...
