I'm pretty sure that there are other forums you can join online if you would rather be harsh as opposed to "soft" like we are here. TamaTalk is a rare place on the internet because it is SUCH a friendly, warm, and kind-spirited place to be. There are more than enough sites you can join where you can be as harsh as you like...but this just isn't th place for it. It never has been...I've been here long enough to know...and it never will be. This place is unique due to it's friendly "atmosphere" . The world needs more places like it.

I'm a BIT soft, most of the time I can really hurt someone's feelings if I'm not careful. xD

Not Really.I just to post drawings online when I was 10 or 11 and people who saw them thought they were good so I kept drawing and I have improved my skill alot and I really like my drawings now and spend alot more time and care on them.

So no not really it encourages people.

Yeah, but it gets to the point that it is ridiculous. No matter what you draw, you will get a 10/10 from at least 5 people. No concrit. And if you do give concrit, you get flamed to heck and back.

Yeah, they're just trying to be nice. I do agree that some people post how much they love the other person's work, and I just think, "Hey, it really isn't that good. It's just mediocre" But everyone has their own opinions.

Um, what's so bad about that? Some people might actually like their story a lot, even if you don't. It's called different opinons. But if I didn't like somebody's story or art, I wouldn't be like, "OMG!! It's the best story ever (or picture)!!!!! Please do more!!!!!!" I'll at least be like, "It's not the best thing I've seen, but keep working on it. You'll get better. "

Saying things like, "That's so bad. Why do you even write stories anyway. Go find yourself another hobby" 's just too mean. It's good to be honest, but in a nice way.

Agreed. There's so many websites where people swear all the time. >.<

On my old TamaTalk account (I can't rememember the username. I had to make a new account because I stopped coming on and for got my username) it always seemed so. People are friendly/soft here, that's why I like this website.
