Always be careful with what you post on the internet. What goes on the net, STAYS on the net. Remember that.
I've never really understood this. If you delete what you post, no one can see it. Sure it'll still be in the website's database (I'm guessing), but no one else will be able to get to it.

Well, you could think of it this way. Let's say you post a slightly inappropriate picture of yourself (It's the only way I can explain this). Tons of people see it within a few weeks. It spreads all over your school, and that's when you decide to delete it. But by then people could have spread it all over the internet. It's all over websites. By then it's nearly impossible to get rid of it.

That's true, but if you delete it quick enough (like the same day you put it up, not waiting a few weeks), while there's probably still people who saw it, there's less of a chance that those people spread it around the internet.

I see your point though. Always be careful what you put online.

someone at my old school died because a pervert came to her house and ....well you know what i mean. then killed her. thankfully that guy got caught but the girl wasnt that smart because she was in a chat room with alot of pervs and weird people. so it was her own fault.

Better to be safe than sorry. I'm too old to have to worry about predators but I still don't want my picture floating around the internet. My facebook photo is the exact same picture as my avatar here. There's no way I'm putting actual photos of myself online. There's no telling what some people will do with it.

Agreed:]

Another thing is to never tell someone the time. It gives away your timezone. Although there is a wide range, people with enough experience can track you down.

Not exactly, many places have the same time zone like California and Washington.
