Okay, so lots of people say they are on generation 62 or 43 or whatever- but when your battery dies don't you have to start over? because when you put a new one in won't your tama be gone? Or will you be able to start on that generation again?

u simply download ur tama and go on

Yeah when you put the new battery in an egg should appear, press B and it will say "Download - Yes/No?" just pick yes and you're set.

yes, like what all the other people said, use a sharp pencils and poke the restart button on the back, an egg will pop up, but if press B...it will ask you if you want to download. Say 'Yes' and ur tamagotchi will be back! ^_^

I thought when you put in the battery you press reset THEN you choose download.
