iD L Screen turning white?

Just so you know, the problem has been fixed, and I got my Violetchi back!

My iD L was just sitting on the table, and I felt like playing a few games with it, so I pressed a button to turn it on and it was completely white! I was even more confused when I realized it was working fine, it was just white. I know where all all the icons are, so I tested my theory by feeding it, playing with it, and more. Now that I knew what the problem was, I needed to know how to fix it, so the first thing I tried was reseting it, and it actually worked! I downloaded my Violetchi, and now it's like none of that ever happened. Is this a common glitch? How did it happen?

It happened to me before, I just replaced the batteries. I still could play with it but the screen would be white. :|

When I turn mine on, it flashes white and then it goes into color; the white is not even half a second, though.

I haven't had it stay like that, however...

Strange... Like Violetchilluvr3 said thats what my iD L does too. Maybe the screen just got frozen in that stage?

I think it froze for a short amount of time.
